Civilization V DLCs bring new civilization, wonders, and scenarios

What do you do once you’ve built every Wonder, nabbed every achievement, and done everything there is to do in Sid Meier’s Civilization V? Play multiplayer for another 300 hours. But after you’ve done that, it’s time to start grabbing DLC, and today, 2K Games has announced two more packs to keep you clicking “Next Turn” for another few months.

Priced at $4.99 each (or bundled together for $7.49), the two packs are dated for August 11 on Steam and other digital partners, and come with new Scenarios and additional content.

The “Korea Civilization and Scenario Pack” brings the Korean civilization to the game for the first time. Lead by Sejong the Great, Korea has access to Turtle Ships and Hwach’a artillery—both of which should make quick work of Barbarian hordes and enemy civilizations alike. It also comes with the Samurai Invasion of Korea Scenario, which lets you play as one of four civilizations (Korea, China, Manchuria, or Japan) in the historical conflict. For those not up to date on their knowledge of 16th century battles, the invasion ended with Japan being forced to retreat from Korea after being attacked by the combined might of the Korean and Chinese forces.
