Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid Vita show up in retail listings

If these retail listings are any indication, we may be hearing more about two classic series coming to the PlayStation Vita this week. Internet sleuths have turned up two listings today which indicate retailers are preparing for the announcement of both Resident Evil Vita and Metal Gear Solid Vita.

The Resident Evil listing can be found on Play.com (opens in new tab) and was spotted by website Rely on Horror (opens in new tab). The Metal Gear Solid listing was found by Gematsu (opens in new tab) and was found on PlayAsia (opens in new tab).

Right now there is no additional information accompanying the listings which means there’s a good chance these could be chalked up to retailers anticipating these announcements (and having their pre-order pages up first.) However, there’s a chance that they know more than we do.

We’ll have to wait until Sony’s press conference to find out. At this point we’re still not sure what to expect. Retail listings are never the most reliable sources of news during a trade show week. That said, we’d almost be surprise not to see either Resident Evil or Metal Gear Solid announced at Sony’s presser.

Thanks, VG247 (opens in new tab)!
