The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence) is set to begin shooting later this year, and the film’s final instalment will include returns for a pair of faces familiar to fans of the grisly horror series.
Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey, who played the mad scientist of the first film and the twisted obsessive of the second respectively, have both agreed to reprise their roles for the third film in the series, which promises to give censors the world over more pause for thought.
Director Tom Six is on board once again, and has apparently cast himself in a supporting role alongside Laser and Harvey. Seeing as the second film got rather meta, we’d guess he’ll be playing a version of himself.
According to producer Ilona Six, principal photography will begin on the project in May, with filming set to take place in the southern states of the US. What’s more, Six promises it will be “100% politically incorrect,” just in case any of you were worried they were taking it down the rom-com route.
Three people were stitched together in the first film, twelve in the second… just how many people will end up cheek-to-cheek in round three? We’ll have to wait until 2013 to find out…
