Binary Domain gets new trailer and a slightly delayed release date

Sega’s sci-fi action game from the team behind Yakuza, Binary Domain, got a little more futuristic today when the publisher announced the game’s launch is even farther in the future from gamers. BD has been delayed from its Valentine’s Day launch and is now coming to stores February 28 (Feb 24 in the UK). While this short delay isn’t great, at least Sega released a new trailer to salve the wound. Watch:

As the above trailer demonstrates, Binary Domain isn’t getting campy with its robot apocalypse story, and we’re interested that it’s taking heavy inspiration from Blade Runner and Terminator. When we last saw the game (opens in new tab) we were impressed how it balanced gameplay with a heavy emphasis on story. Keep your cybernetic eyes open for the title at the end of next month.
