The first set photo from the Justice League movie is here

Despite rumours that Warner Bros. execs had mixed reactions to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (opens in new tab), it was recently confirmed that the studio is pushing forward with Justice League – Part 1, which begins shooting in April (opens in new tab). And thanks to Zack Snyder, we now have our first behind the scenes look at DC’s big team-up movie.

Check out his tweet below…

The image sees Aquaman actor, Jason Mamoa, posing with the director at UK’s Leavesden Studios, and upon closer inspection there are plenty of teases to be found in the background. Specifically, we can see The Flash suit that will be worn by Ezra Miller, the Aquaman costume, concept art for Queen Mera, and the cowl of Ben Affleck’s Batman.

We’ll presumably get an even better look when Batman v Superman is finally released next month, but for fans who have been waiting a long time for a Justice League movie it’s great to see the film starting to come together. With any luck, we can look forward to more teases like this once the film starts shooting.

Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Mamoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher, Justice League: Part 1 is currently scheduled for a November 17, 2017 release.
